Everyone needs a friend like Maureen. Maureen is that friend...that friend goes skydiving with the US Army Golden Knights to celebrate her 30th birthday...that friend goes to Beijing for 40 days to work the summer Olympics...that friend takes you to the Keys to sing AC/DC at the top of your lungs, celebrating - what was it that year - Spring Break '06?! In case you were wondering, no - we weren't there for an actual collegiate Spring Break, simply a rite of passage when you're nearing your thirty somethings down in South Florida.
So in true Maureen fashion, we needed to celebrate her thirty-something birthday outside of the box...enter Trapeze School. Yes, trapeze school - think Barnum & Bailey, clowns, elephants, etc. - or think downtown Miami with a swing and a net - yep, 3 hours and $35 later we've found a new passion in life - trapeze! Ok, a slight exaggeration - but let me tell you, I will chalk this up to one of the most unique experiences - and most exhilarating - of my entire life. Seriously though, how many people do you know that can actually say they've been to Trapeze School?!
